• Proxy , we only plan to support proxy with the Adapters API Next 16+

We are currently working on Next 16 support and currently expect to have something ready within a week.
Note that we have no plan to add Proxy support as part of this effort but to implement proxy support when we switch to the adapters API. This one will probably take a few more weeks.

So this means we need to use middleware?

Yes for now, only edge middlewares are supported.
And starting from 1.11.1, the build will error if you try to use a Node middleware.
