Hi @xinyual , can you clarify what you mean by visit exactly? There are many different types of index actions. The most common one is search (action name: indices:data/read/search), but there are other index actions such as updating index settings, search with a template, search with a scroll, etc.

Also some nuances with requests like _bulk which contain individual items that need to be authorized.

There actually is an open PR that introduces a query param to a URL to get the result of authz w/o running the whole API request.
