Simulation Results in UnetStack 3.4.4 Differ from README.txt

Dear Unet Team,

I am a U of Alberta Electrical Engineering student currently learning to use this wonderful platform.

Primarily, I genuinely appreciate you for developing such a free platform for researchers in the area of underwater communications. Because of my limited knowledge in java, I met some problems regarding the simulation results of samples/aloha.groovy.

I ran the samples/aloha.groovy script in UnetStack 3.4.4, but the TX/RX counts and throughput values differ from those in README.txt. First I used System.getProperty("java.version") to check the Java version inside UnetStack and confirmed Java 8. Then I input 'import java.util.Random' in the terminal of UnetSim to add randomness to the the simulation results.I ran the simulation for several times. Each time the results varies, but the results were still very different from those in README.txt.

My system information is listed below :
macOS version: MacBook Pro M4 Pro, macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 (ARM-based Apple Silicon version)
Java version: Java 8 (1.8.0_402) used in UnetStack
UnetStack version: 3.4.4

The screenshots of the simulation results in README.txt and my simulation results are attached below:



The sentence "15 simulations completed in 102.494 seconds" is absent in my simulation results on UnetSim, and my results reaches the Througput peak faster than the results in README.txt.

I also tried to run the simulation in terminal, but the results still differs from the README.txt:

The theoretical ALOHA throughput peaks at about 18% at an offered load of a little over 0.5. Your results seem quite consistent with that. I eyeballed the values at a few other loads, and they seem reasonable too.
