Description of issue

I noticed when running the cask install for digikam it's set to be deprecated in 2026. I checked the projects' homepage and don't see a notice that the project is going into a maintenance mode, so I was wondering why the cask has been marked as deprecated.

the commit has a comment on digikam.rb: disable! date: "2026-09-01", because: :fails_gatekeeper_check

Note that brew install told you that too, no need to go to the cask file:-

% brew install digikam
