Bpp network connection issue

While trying to call the bpp network api, I am facing this issue. on request.ts. this if block is not working.
if (
getConfig().app.mode == AppMode.bpp &&
getConfig().app.gateway.mode === GatewayMode.network
)

even if I comment out this condition I am facing isuue.
