How to get start time for seismogram in binary file ?

Hi,
I am learning how to run the code, and interact with outputs, but could not figure out how to get correct start time for seismogram stored in binary format. I prefer to use binary over ascii to keep number of files in a folder to a minimum.
When i run simulation using parameter below, i see in the log file and ascii version of seismogram that output starts at -0.12

How would the user of the binary file know that seismogram starts at -0.12 ?
Is there an easy way to calculate it based on a parameters available in DATA/Par_file ?
