About power measurement

Hi all, I want to measure the power consumption during the flight and it seems there's no built-in power meter(only voltage sensor) in crazyflie. Is there any recommended sensor that can be easily added? I'm working with crazybolt.

Built in power consumption would have been very nice to have! There is no off the shelf solution but the BQ-deck has some support for external sensor that could be reused with some coding and getting an external analog sensor (something like the HGLRC 80A XT30). The current sensor output voltage should be between 0 - 3.0V or a voltage divider is needed. There might also be digital versions which will need software support to be implemented.

What about the bolt? Is there any similar support in bolt?

Sort of, with some "hacking", this is what I meant with reuse in my previous comment, it should be possible to add this functionality to the Bolt by connecting the current sensor to the expansion port. This will not work off the shelf though and needs code changes but since there is support for it using the BQ-deck it should be fairly straight forward (if ones knows how to code the Crazyflie FW..)
