DITA-OT 3.x version

Given the changes in DITA-OT 3.x, would you implement this any differently today?

The changes in DITA OT 3.x related to PDF generation were not very drastic in my opinion. From what I remember we already checked the plugin works also with DITA OT 3.x but we have not looked to see if there are easier ways to do the same thing in DITA OT 3.x.
