Description
By following a YouTube video by Richard Oliver Bray I was able to successfully get the app to open.
- Drag app to applications folder (likely not needed but I did)
- Right click open package contents
- Navigate to MacOS sub folder and find the file "Metacolor.Editor.XamMac"
- Open Terminal
- Type Chmod -x
- Hit space bar in terminal so you have a space after -X then Drag the file we found in step 3 into Terminal, hit enter
- If nothing happens, right click the app and chose open
- If it says the app can't be opened due to it being from an unidentified dev, it worked
- Open up system settings
- Navigate to Privacy and Security
- If step 8 prevailed, you should see an option to Open Metacolor Editor anyway and it will prompt your password
Enjoy getting out of Mac hell and going back in to gamma shift hell
