Authentication error o365 login

Iam using command to login to sharepoint site but iam getting error while doing that.
o365 login sharepoint_url --authType password --userName username --password password

But, when i used the same username and password to login to sharepoint url through browser Iam able to login without any error

Signing in the browser works differently than using a custom app like CLI for Microsoft 365. It seems like your organization doesn't allow using custom applications unless they're explicitly assigned to people. In this case, you'd need to check with your tenant administrator to allow you to use this app.
