Updating library version leads to changes in the generated images #983
-
Hello, Today we updated from version 1.12.0 of the library to 1.18.3 and started getting little differences to previously recorded images. I know that this is to be expect for iOS version updates and for that exact reason we even use a script for the test simulator setup. But I did not know that it would change when updating the library. Does anyone know if there has been a change that would explain such a minute difference in the snapshots? |

Hi @arkulpaKonstantin, version 1.12 of the library was released nearly 2 years ago, so it's hard to say. Have you tried a slower, more incremental upgrade through the versions to find which one introduced the difference? |

Thanks for the super fast response.
Just checked again and it turns out I lied. The package.lock already pointed at 1.18.0 so it was not that huge of an update.
But now I am even more confused than earlier today. I am now sure it is not an issue with the package, because just switching branches seemed to fix the issue and now the old screenshot works as expected 🙃
So I think we can close the this discussion, even though I do not understand what happened here.
