How can you change the background to cosmic-epoch greeter lock/login screen?

I am working with a new install of POP OS 24.04 alpha with Cosmic-epoch.

The background for the greeter/login/lock screen seems a space photo. I have trouble seeing with the busy background. How do I change the background for the getter? I looked is Settings and Cosmic Tweaks and ~/.config/cosmic but do not see any way (for me) to change the background image/solid color.

For me it consistently matches my desktop wallpaper without issues. If you think there’s a bug, please gather details and either open a new issue or contribute to an existing one.

Some third-party wallpaper apps might not trigger the lockscreen update, try setting the wallpaper through system settings first if you’re using one.

Thanks @PewOsuPlayer. The photo works fine for me.

I tried your suggestion. You are right, and your suggestion does work -- as-long-as you select an image as the desktop background. This does not work if you use a colors/solid color/no image background/wallpaper.

I filed a bug report to explain what happens.

Your comment was very helpful. Thanks. I will likely just make a solid PNG color image and use that to "fool" the system.
