Upgrading from 2.0.9 to 2.0.10 results in "keyset not found, will generate a new one exception"

I'm trying to upgrade from 2.0.9 to 2.0.10. But this results in the following error in the Android

keyset not found, will generate a new one
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: can't read keyset; the pref value __androidx_security_crypto_encrypted_prefs_key_keyset__ does not exist

I have the same problem. Version 2.0.10 works with EncryptedSharedPreferences where the old version works with Cipher.

There should be a migration or a fallback option. In our app all of the accounts didn't work anymore because of this issue.

PR #86 introduced this change. The author of that PR even pointed this out as a consequence of making the switch (see comment). IMHO, this was a breaking change that should have been a major version change, not a minor one that wasn't even mentioned in v2.0.10 Release Notes

It should be noted, that downgrading to 2.0.9 seems to restore access to the existing data, so long as the user did not uninstall the app or clear their data. In other words, the data was not deleted. Just not accessible from 2.0.10.

Another way to overcome this issue than updating to 2.0.10 (which will break Android) - it is to add the Pod manually on the Podfile:

...
pod 'RNSecureKeyStore', path: '../node_modules/react-native-secure-key-store/ios'
... 

This should do the workaround 👍
