Subject to contract, we should have a new project funded by Jisc starting in October. "Enabling library and archive participation in digital research co-learning communities" is a programme of work that will culminate in library and archive professionals co-producing new learning materials on computational processing, discovery, and/or analysis of digital collections.
To achieve this we will deliver:
A call for participants (October)
Orientation sessions on writing effective and sustainable tutorials (December)
Bootcamps where library and archive professionals can develop learning materials with digital humanities researchers (January-March)
Community workshops where authors can test out the tutorials (April-May)
New publications in draft form (by end of July). Note that, if the publication to which these are submitted (which is likley to be EN) are not accepted, we will support the publication of these tutorials as grey literature.
Full details are here. The project will be led by @anisa-hawes. My thanks to @hawc2 and @rivaquiroga for support on drafting the initial proposal. I'll update this ticket once the start date is confirmed and the project initiated!
