Inputs when handheld hardware tools is open also run for the game in the background

When selecting things in the HHT menu with my A button, my character is jumping in the background game. How can I remove this if possible, if not please add this

I'm using msi claw 8, and the same issue persist, while navigating n the HHT menu or wheel, all the inputs are sending to the background game as well.
