Very poor performance #25
Description
What steps did you take and what happened:
- Started contour-authserver as Pod in a Kubernetes Cluster.
- Added one user with password 1234
- Send 20 http Requests per second
- CPU load goes op to 100% almost 90% used by
contour-authserver
What did you expect to happen:
- Almost no significant increase of the CPU load since the number of requests are very low.

kubectl version): v1.22.7 - Cloud provider or hardware configuration: Azure AKS
