Notification

Hi, Is there a way to set an alarm or notification of some type. (Via Text or email maybe?)
Or even an action to turn some other hardware on or off via whatever board your using?
I'm thinking for when costs go below a pre determined price or rise to above another predetermined price.

It would give the user a notification to say 'you have cheap electric' so they know to utilise that fact, or obviously, your electric is expensive so they know to turn things off!

I think this would make this software more usable due to the data it receives from the API.

Not using this software. There are plenty of apps which would do this - check out Octo-Aid or Octopus Watch.

You could look into MQTT or NodeRed to give you some extra knobs to twist!

That could be an option, I looked at the octo-aid and Octowatch but they are both iOS or PC/Mac apps and I am looking for something that is Pi based as it will be the Pi that is in place to monitor (which it can do with this software) but then tell the end user the info required and when needed (Via whatever means, txt, email, Alarm from Pi etc etc).

Well, thats the plan anyway!
