Browsing a STAC in private cloud storage

Hi,

I have a STAC catalog.json with several collections and items all stored in a private Azure blob storage account. The linked assets are also contained in that same private storage account. The STAC files and assets themselves can be accessed with a SAS token appended to the end of each link but I am wondering if STAC Browser is able to access them by dynamically appending SAS tokens to each STAC file and asset.

I understand there are private query parameters but not sure this is intended for what I am trying to do and haven't had any luck with that. I have been avoiding creating an API but is that the ideal way for accessing STACs in private storage? Noting I am trying to keep both the STAC files and asset links private as some of the metadata is sensitive.

Did you have a look at the STAC Authentication extension and is it implemented for your collections/items?
Some authentication mechanisms are already implemented, some are still missing, but I'm aiming at implementing more mechanisms if there are clear and reproducible test cases available.
