Why only two streams watched?

Can someone explain to me why the script can only watch two streams at a time?

I thought I saw somewhere someone said that Twitch only allows two viewings at once.... but how is that possible when I can have a dozen tabs open and watching streams at the same time on my browser?

Twitch only allows you to collect points from 2 streams at a time. You can have as many streams as you want open in your browser but Twitch will only count points for 2 of them, I think it effectively chooses which ones randomly but I'm not sure.
