Realm Gradle plugin 11.0.0 not found in maven

Realm Java 11.0.0 is the latest version. There used be synced Gradle plugin versions, but for 11.0.0 it's missing in Maven. 10.19.0 is the last available one.
Can plugin and library versions generally be not in sync? Is it safe to use plugin 10.19.0 with library 11.0.0?
