Can't paste into the .AppImage text area

As per the title: I can't paste into the left-hand pane on the .AppImage.

I'm running Manjaro, so none of the native packages that are available will work for me.

I'm going to run from source, because I assume this will work fine - just raising this issue so it's known and visible.

As an addendum - I'm trying to figure it out rn, but when I try to npm run tauri build or npm run tauri dev, I get the error:

failed to get cargo metadata: No such file or directory (os error 2)

Do you have any idea what this is referring to? I've tried running npm run build first, on the assumption that the tauri target may require a fully-built app, but still no go.

and as a (probably final) note: when running npm run dev, and pasting json into the left-hand pane, the entire page clears, so I can't even use that route 😢
