Requirements and steps to  run it.

I appreciate your skills, but can you please elaborate in detail about the additional software require to run it,
I install jvm, login windows start successfully but when I try to login, a pop window shows "error in connecting database", so I need to install mysql also?
After installing "mysql", do I also need to configure it?
Secondary is "root" is the username and password ?
