I have been hoping if there is the same as create-expo-stack for @react-native-community/cli. I like using this stack for creating expo apps and hoping if there would be something similar like this for bare react native because I still use bare react native for development. |

As I understand this project is intended to be opinionated and the opinion is that using expo provides a better developer experience, meta themselves recommend using a framework. Therefore I wouldn't expect it to be added here necessarily. I think that 'bare react native' has the potential to grow for example with the callstack framework for enterprise built by the cli maintainers. I don't know of any alternatives myself but it would be possible to take the patterns here and make a cli for bare react native projects. However it won't protect you from painful upgrades 😄 . It should also be noted that you can make your own templates for react native by just publishing package to npm, for example I have one here https://github.com/dannyhw/react-native-template-storybook. |
