Launching a game imedately returns back to the games menu

Hi, thanks for making such a cool project!

I'm just running into an issue getting it setup. I've installed ialauncher using the msi installer linked to in the readme (version 2.2.1) and I've also installed dosbox by downloading and running the dosbox installer from dosbox.com.

When I open ialauncher I see the cover of a game and can use the arrow keys to switch between a game but when I press enter to start a game I breifly (for about a second) see this screen:

Any idea what's going on? I'm running windows 10 pro if that changes anything.

If a game fails to launch for any reason, you will return back to the main screen. If this happens for a single game only, it has something to do with the game. If this happens for all games, something is up. A likely cause is that DOSBox is not installed or could not be found.

To find out more, you could try running ialauncher from the command line. Open a terminal, type ialauncher, and keep the terminal open in the background. Copy and paste the output of the terminal here and I may be able to help you further!
