If <preference name="scheme" value="app"/> plugin doesn't work

Hi Team,

I found an issue when I have this line in config.xml because of iOS http requests the plugin doesn't load parameters from config.xml. When I remove it, the plugin works fine. Is there any reason why it breaks the plugin?
