Printing on Windows will change in the long run

MS plans to no longer distribute new drivers for printers via its Windows Update, due to their Microsoft IPP Class Driver, which removes the requirement of manufacturers to provide their own drivers and tools. However, the manufacturers can use print support apps to provide support for printer features that the IPP driver does not support or where it can't provide it. This might affect Sandboxie, since the print support apps mean UWP.

Printing should still be working, even if Sandboxie would do nothing, only if special printer features are used and the user has migrated to the UWP system, there would be an incompatibility.
