No access logs in FrankenPHP beta variant

Steps To Reproduce

FrankenPHP isn't logging any access requests

Outcome

What did you expect?

It should log something when you access the host

What happened instead?

Silent logs except for global web server info

Affected Docker Images

serversideup/php:beta-8.4-frankenphp-bookworm

Anything else?

It thought it might be something to do with the matcher

I tried changing it to http://* but that didn't seem to help.
It's just not logging accesses for some reason.

Thanks for helping test the images! I wonder if this has to do with our default log level of warn?

If you set LOG_OUTPUT_LEVEL: "info" then I get logs like this:

I replicated the log levels for what we have in our other images, but access logs are considered "info" in FrankenPHP.

Thoughts?

It is the LOG_OUTPUT_LEVEL. I had assumed it was not set and falling back to "info" level (which is what is defined in the Caddyfile). But it's overridden by an environment variable that is defaulted to "warn". What logging level were you intending for server logs across all the variants?

🐛 Btw, there seems to also be a bug in either the configuration or the documentation:

I assumed that I'd be able to change the log level to debug via CADDY_GLOBAL_LOG_LEVEL=debug (i.e. it takes precedence?), but the debug log level only took effect once I set LOG_OUTPUT_LEVEL.

CADDY_GLOBAL_LOG_LEVEL doesn't exist.

Use LOG_OUTPUT_LEVEL if you want to debug.
