Edits to svgo.json seem have no effect on generated SVG markup

I've tried editing a number of settings in svgo.json, but none of them are affecting the SVG code after exporting from Sketch.

Feel like I'm missing something obvious here...

The config file is called svgo.config.js and is located in (or must be placed in) ~/Library/Application Support/com.bohemiancoding.sketch3/Plugins/.

(could have been different at the time this issue was created, and most certainly the documentation was different / not that helpful then)
