2.79 or 2.80 support?

I was able to install it in 2.79 but it does not appear in the import menu. I can only see the option to export as .x file.

update - turns out that export option I was seeing was from a different addon that might be shipped with Blender.

After installing this addon in 2.79 I'm unable to find it in the settings to activate it.
