• I would like to thank @kgryte, for guiding me on how my approach should be in my upcoming implementation and helping me how to set up remote branches locally, which helped me a lot.
• Also, I would like to thank @aman-095, for having a meeting and explaining how he tackled BLAS and how I can do that too.

✅ Updates from last week

• I worked on
  • feat: refactor and native addons for complex/float64/conj stdlib#7301
  • feat: add blas/base/strmm stdlib#7343
  • feat: add blas/base/dtrsm stdlib#7359
  • feat: add blas/base/dtrmm stdlib#7366
  • Also revisited my previous PRs and PRs by other contributors on BLAS and refactored it.

🔭 My plan for the current week

• I plan on working on
  • continue with the javascript implementation of level 3 real packages
  • continue with refactorinig the existing PRs

🙏 Challenges that I've faced and things I'd like help with

• Nothing much this week, but I took some time on how to set up remote branches locally and @kgryte helped me out with this.
• I just need a bunch of PR reviews on BLAS so I can open new gateways for further implementations

• Shoutout to @kgryte for reviewing PRs and helping with API design for blas/ext/base/sindex-of

✅ Updates from last week

• As part of implementing the ndarray/index-of and ndarray/last-index-of functions, I worked on implementing blas/ext/base/sindex-of

• As part of ongoing efforts to reduce tech debt, I worked on adding tests for ndarray/base/includes, ndarray/base/some-by, ndarray/base/every-by and ndarray/base/every. Tests for ndarray/base/every are complete for others are still WIP.

🔭 My plan for the current week

• I plan to work on adding the remaining tests to the open test PRs, and also implement the blas/ext/base/dindex-of and blas/ext/base/gindex-of packages.

• Having implemented a draft version for ndarray/index-of would be nice.

• Got a bunch of stuff merged:

• Continue working on the rest of the trigonometric-based implementations and hopefully wrap up most of them.

• Did work on migrations & 1d arrray wrapper package.
• I did some PR reviews along with some cleaning up of solved issues.

• Review PRs related to stats/*.
• Migrate packages.
• Add more 1d array wrappers packages.

✅ Updates from last week

• I worked on Gunj's PR adding FFT support. Got rfft radix-2 support working.
• Adding support for emulation of C structs in JavaScript to allow zero-copy interop between JS and C. This will be useful for operating on composite data types (e.g., results objects in statistical hypothesis tests).
• Reviewed PRs, but not as many as I wanted to.

🔭 My plan for the current week

• I plan on working on more R&D for statistical strided APIs. Ideally, I'd at least have a JavaScript prototype of an ndarray implementation calling a statistical hypothesis test (e.g., t-test reduction).

🙏 Challenges that I've faced and things I'd like help with

• Nothing that I need help with. General challenge of figuring out technical direction for how to implement statistical reductions returning composite data types.

• No time away plans. Will be AFK some during the week of July 4.
