The current footer design feels more like a placeholder and does not reflect a modern, professional UI standard.
🔧 Problems Identified:
Boxed Layout
-Each section (Quick Links, Resources, Connect, etc.) is inside individual boxes, making the footer look bulky instead of clean and unprofessional.
Alignment & Spacing
-Uneven spacing between sections creates a cluttered appearance.
-Social media icons feel oversized and not aligned with text elements.
Styling Issues
-The dark background with boxed sections reduces readability and doesn’t look minimalistic.
-Divider lines inside the boxes are inconsistent with modern footer styles.
Content Presentation
-Footer should feel like one unified section, not a collection of separate cards.
-The “Made with ♥ for researchers worldwide” line looks good but could be styled more elegantly (smaller font, lighter tone, centered).
