Is there a roadmap for implementing cell selection functionality? This feature would enable spreadsheet-like range selection capabilities (similar to Excel) with clipboard data copying functionality.

Yes, we have this feature on our roadmap. This autumn we are going to release the commercial Grid version, and cell / range selection will be included into it, but perhaps without the copying functionality from the start.
