Jumping to source code from error message does not move cursor

When I click on the red X next to an error message to jump to the code that errored, The screen and highlight jumps there as expected. However, the cursor does not jump. And so when I hit `j` or `k` to move up or down a row, the screen jumps to where the cursor previously was, or the top of the file in a newly opened file.
