Resizing the terminal window and still displaying the right number of rows / columns

This is probably not possible / a silly idea.. but I wonder if it would be possible to support terminal window resizing ?

I don't know if you could query the terminal size directly, or if you'd have to add something to DOSEMU so it would cooperate, when it received WINCH, putting that data somewhere you could read it ?

I think it would definitely be possible if I could get a notification from DOSEMU on SIGWINCH, I just tested and it doesn't seem to update the BIOS data area.... but maybe it could?

I'll file a feature request and see what they think, I'm sure they'll know if that would be likely to break anything!

I was planning to try to get libcaca working, so that graphs can work properly in a terminal! That might be a dumb idea though, but it would be fun to try.

Stas just pointed me to the int 6eh helpers, so adding any helpers needed seems totally plausible.

Here's a braindump of suitable and unsuitable things:

• X clipboard integration
• Drag and drop: not sure if this is relevant, also not sure it's possible with GPM
• licaca looks good I don't know which other libraries there are for C, but certainly other languages have some nice libraries for doing unicode based graphs.
• ANSI hyperlinks - I don't really know enough about 123 to know if this is a useful thing, or what you would link to, but could be useful if 123 gives you a way of linking to files.

There's always libsixel, though only some terminals support it.

Hmm - clipboard integration in particular seems like a good match for an int 6e helper, I really like that idea. That's definitely on my list of things to add!

I have really basic ascii art graphics working, it's not complete but it actually works! Even pie charts work lol!

Regarding clipboard support, I wonder if you have to add anything to dosemu2 that it could be done via dosemu2/dosemu2#1179?
