Really curious how the vetting process works, and what are the rules behind it.

I think it's fair to disclose the rules, and the reasons why some PRs happen to skip the queue, to keep everyone guided.

As you may be aware, this is an open source project. I don't have specific rules and I usually specify the reason of not merging a PR. Do you have one that didn't get a comment?

In regards to approvals, it's random, when I have time to quickly review it. Let me know if I was able to answer your questions.

I totally understand the time constraints, but I think it's fair for everyone that the maintainers start reviewing from the earliest submissions instead of randomly picking submissions to review.

My submission is one of the many submissions buried in the backlog for months. Seeing later submissions being reviewed just 2 weeks after submission while others are in the backlog for months is not a good look.

The lack of vetting rules just makes the situation look bad since it keeps everyone guessing.

If you need help in reviewing or crafting specific rules to keep everyone guided, I am willing to help out.

I really believe that this project is one guideline away from being the largest directory of AI tools implementing llms.txt. The volume of PR submissions is a positive sign already.
