🎯 The objective
The goal of Community Contributions is to provide a simple, shared place to track community contributions that don’t clearly fit into an existing milestone.
Not all contributions map neatly to a specific project or initiative, but they’re still valuable and should be visible. This milestone acts as a catch-all bucket so those contributions don’t get lost and can still be recognized and reported on.
🎒 Resources
- GitHub (PRs, issues, reviews)
🦮 Rules of the Road
🟢 In Scope
- Contributions that don’t belong to another active milestone
- Cross-project or one-off contributions
- Smaller improvements, fixes, or support work
- Community activity that still deserves visibility but lacks a clear “home”
🔴 Out of Scope
- Contributions that clearly belong to a specific milestone (those should go there first)
- Creating new work just to fit this milestone
- Reassigning work that already has a well-defined project
🚧 Technical and/or Business Requirements
- Make it easy to review and report on contributions at the end of the quarter
