Does this still work? Getting a version error response.

When I try and connect I get an error saying I'm on an old version and it's time to upgrade. I tried updating the version to the latest Kik version, I pulled the latest apk and generated a new sha1 from classes.dex, but I'm still getting the same error, is there anything else I need to do?

Adding support for it is possible, but you would be responsible for providing the tokens yourself.

I don't believe I'm able to continue development of my projects until this is resolved, and I most certainly lack the knowledge to understand the issue in the first place.

This is about where I am stuck, too. Put it down for a year, pick it back up, and can't login. I am not intimately familiar enough with the Kik application or this API to factor in support for Play Integrity.
