The resume postpone handling logic is missing a check for isMinimalMode, which is present in the equivalent base-server code. This could allow resume requests to be processed outside of minimal mode deployments where they shouldn't be.

What fails: The resume postpone request handling in packages/next/src/build/templates/app-page.ts (lines 223-230) checks for PPR enablement and the presence of the NEXT_RESUME_HEADER but is missing the isMinimalMode check. This allows resume requests to be processed outside of minimal mode deployments where they shouldn't be, unlike the equivalent code in packages/next/src/server/base-server.ts (line 1051) which includes this check.

)Result vs Expected: Resume requests are part of the PPR mechanism specifically for minimal mode (production) deployments on platforms like Vercel. Resume requests should only be processed when isMinimalMode === true. Without this check, if a resume request arrives in a non-minimal mode environment (dev or self-hosted), it would incorrectly extract and store postponed state that should never be processed, creating inconsistent behavior and potential security concerns. The code at line 296 does check if (isMinimalMode) before using the postponed data, but by then the request body has already been consumed and parsed unnecessarily.
The fix aligns app-page.ts with base-server.ts by adding && isMinimalMode to the condition, ensuring resume requests are only processed in the intended production deployment context where PPR is active.

This adds the resume postpone handling into the
app-pagehandler so it doesn't rely onbase-server.
