What this does

Phazon weapons will no longer have a high chance of deleting themselves when used and will instead teleport away somewhere nearby, with the radius equaling quality *1.45

Why it's good

Having a hard autismo-made weapon/hammer have a 1 in 100 chance to delete itself whenever it's used for anything is lame.

How it was tested

It wasn't, but it shouldn't break anything.

  • tweak: Phazon weapons and hammers (blacksmithing) will no longer delete themselves when used a bunch, and will instead teleport to a random tile within a radius around itself, scaling with quality, up to a radius of 13 tiles with legendary weapons.

It's kinda lame when you're using a phazon hammer and it just decides that it is time to return to its home planet after 10 hits, hence me disliking this feature.
I'm open to adding another balancing factor in exchange, but the self deletion itself is very lame to me.

How about instead of deleting themselves they merely have a 1/100 chance to teleport away somewhere relatively close by, sort of like your shoes disappearing after slipping on a bluespace peel

The balancing factor to phazon weapons is so severe that nobody bothers making them

If possible, and if it doesn't already, it should also probably have a sound effect of some sort to it to make it more clear when the sword you tried to shove in your bag decided to disappear instead of actually entering it.
