Flash image, but not opening video :(

I tried to open videos and recorded streams but no luck, on one I had flash screen of live but not continually playback just drop out.

the log link isn't working. But I've just tried using the add-on myself. Live appears to be working, but not the replays.

After bit of digging - all the GraphQL calls to trovo to get the list of recorded streams are working, but when trying to play the stream URL returned it gives a 403 forbidden. They may have made changes to prevent replays being played in other apps.

Yeah now that you mention that flash of stream was only on live, recordings don't even start. Now I understand why, but is it fixable ?

Every trying to play the liveURL returned by trovo's GraphQL API (which they don't document and I had to reverse engineer) stop playing after a few seconds using any media player. The replay URLs just return a 403.

This doesn't look like it's fixable as it's something at Trovo's server end blocking stuff.

After some experimentation I got the required to make things compliant with web browser methods. You just need 3 things to download at least for livestreams:

1. The url of the video scraped from playurl in the webpage
2. catenate &_f\= + str(int((datetime.datetime.utcnow() - datetime.datetime(1970, 1, 1)).total_seconds() * 1000)) to the end of the url aka &_f_=1622152995830`
3. Header: Origin: https://trovo.live

I don't think the datetime stuff and the Secret are relevant... but you might be onto something.

For example: using mpv to play the URL for a live stream result into stopping after a second. If I use the follow parameter:

--http-header-fields="Origin: https://trovo.live"

It replays will play. Leaving out the Origin header parameter... it will return a 403 error.

Now I just need to understand how I can coax Kodi's player into sending that http header.

Probably something like:
url + "|Origin=https://trovo.live"

Lack of timestamps seems to cause issues in streamlink, but I don't plan on testing with kodi to see if it is the case, I just stumbled across this issue ticket when I was searching github.

yeah, found it. I've made a modification in testing branch. It seems to work for both replays and live now.

I've left python version at 2.26.0 in addon.xml so it will install on pre KODI 19 boxes. Anyone with KODI 19 matrix can change addon.xml python version to "3.0.0" to try it. I can only try it on KODI 19... so i don't know how it will act on older ones.
