PR Review Guide

Since I'm still new to the project and to open source reviews in general does anyone have any advice or checklist on how to check contributions to the project. I wonder if @s-kganz or @maxrjones have any info about this since I was included on the first PR review last week. I assume we clone the fork and see if it works through both the unit and integration tests as well as maybe set up a few ML training scenarios to test? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
