search for files

I must be missing something. I want to search for a file inside the project.
Not for content inside files (cmd+shift+f) - but for the filename(!). To quickly open a file without navigating to it.

I did not find this yet.

I think the file_finder::Toggle command is what you're looking for, by default bound to ctrl+p or cmd+p if you're on a Mac.

Is there a way to filter by modified file? Would be good to do something like file_finder::Toggle that shows only files that have been modified and not commited

Yep there's no current way of doing that and it'd be useful. I have a WIP PR that adds it: #28047, just haven't had time to fix the last few issues to get it merged.
