Predictive editing suddenly stopped working

Hi,

Sometime yesterday, perhaps after I installed a version update, predictive editing suddenly stopped working. Rest of AI tooling, namely assistant, inline assistant, and inline suggestions, seem to work fine. I tried checking out the log (zed: open log) but there's nothing notable in there.

Any advice on how to debug this?

Yeah, for me too :/
I'm running v0.184.8 in Windows via cargo run --release
I don't have anything set in my personal settings about the prediction.

FWIW it started working on its own after about a day.

not for me, stopped working at saturday when I hit the limit on free zed and since then, it didn't recover, but when I change provider to copilot, it works fine. are there any live limits used visible in zed? if I'm just beyond limit?

You should active your free plan in https://zed.dev/account

When you see Zed Free plan had been Active, edit prediction will works

hmm, I was coding a bit with the copilot backend for ai completions, but I never got predictive editing for tab,tab,tab,tab, is that zed plan only functionality?

Yes.Free plan has 2000 Edit Predictions.
