Broker: Inconsistent group protocol when integration with another library

I'm trying to integrate to another library that uses partition.assignment.strategy: roundrobin. Through the source code, I can see that it uses a similar 'roundrobin' protocol, but I'm unsure if it's the same or another.

Anyone faced similar issues before?

I use version 0.7.10 currently.
