Huggingface Spaces have docker support. Is it possible to deploy this project there? They offer free hosting.

HF forces the container in the Spaces to be executed with user 1000. #18 introduces the change for this low-privilege mode.

The image has been deployed to HF Spaces. Not sure if it is a common issue at the free tier. The space Building stage stuck, after several factory reset and ~40 hours of waiting it finally became Running. Then the space Loading stuck. Wait-and-see seems to be the only strategy for the time being.

I uploaded the files in the github repo to huggingface and it is running but i think its not working.

Testing it with curl curl -x https://username-rp.hf.space:3128 https://ipinfo.io/json or curl -x https://username-rp.hf.space https://ipinfo.io/json results in timeout. Maybe it needs to use the default port of huggingface - 7860?

Thanks for the effort, @soybeans-generator! You are moving faster than I do. My deployment is finnaly running, but the space still stuck at "Preparing Space" stage. Nonetheless, I can see the runtime logs now.

7860 does not seem to be the root cause. I tried to set app_port: 7860 at README.md metadata, also tried to change the Docker image to listen and expose 7860. None of them worked out.

Instead, looking at the logs, it reports always "We need more microdescriptors: we have 0/8449". This is highly suspicious. I doubt that the HF Spaces networking has some restrictive measures blocking the circuit build. As the next step with lower priority, I will try to tweak the torrc parameters to see if I could find a way to obfuscate the network pakets.
